Week thirty-eight

My student loans are still frustratingly up in the air. I got a billing statement of $0, which is great but doesn't make sense considering I make enough per year to have to pay a small amount, yet on my profile on the processor's site, there isn't any explanation for why, and the IDR plan that they claim I'm on has no information in regards to my actual amount owed, nor did I ever receive anything specifically informing me that I was approved for this plan or how it would apply to my account. I really don't know what to think at this point
Anyway...
Work was work again. I did a lot of labwork, finally finished up all the proficiency testing stuff, and sent the usual fuckton of emails. Nothing special, really
I dropped in at the local farmer's market one day, but it was very small and underwhelming. I was kind of expecting more stuff from farms, you know, not candles and specialty cleaning products? The one lady selling apples was deep in conversation with someone else and obviously wasn't interested in pausing to sell me anything, so I left the booth, and the little local Sudanese cook was also mid-conversation with several people that showed no sign of leaving, so again I left, and the local baker was on his phone and gave off the vibe that he didn't want to be there, so yeah, I left. The only people who actually seemed to appreciate my interest was an old man selling smoked fish (I don't like smoked fish, so I felt bad about walking away after only a brief conversation because he was so friendly but I didn't want to take up his time when there was no way I'd be buying anything) and two people doing a recipe demo, who were just being friendly and outgoing to everyone. I don't know if I'll end up going back, which is a damn shame, really
For writing, I finished up the editing on the next chapter of my NaNo '22 fic, though I haven't uploaded it yet. Sometime this week, maybe? I also managed to write a solid amount every single day for the first time in a while
